Delaware North operates in the lodging, sporting, airport, gaming and entertainment industries employing a staff of 60,000 employees with operations on four continents and serving half a billion guests each year.

Over 10 years ago, Delaware North approached Chakra with an operational challenge. With an organization so large and diverse, it was difficult to centralize and automate the ordering, production and delivery of certain products like stationery, training materials and corporate merchandise. Delaware North was looking for a reliable company with a technology platform to solve this challenge and to bring additional advantages of economies of scale, reduced administrative overhead and quality and brand consistency.


Chakra customized OrderStream, a central e-commerce platform on which associates from different units nationally and internationally could order a multitude of stationery items, associate training kits, recruitment collateral and corporate merchandise. Additionally, Chakra was able to institute brand policing, create a high and consistent level of quality and provide freight saving solutions for units located in the UK and Australia. With OrderStream, Chakra was able to transition over 175 products on to an online order management system that is currently being used by authorized Delaware North Associates. Additionally, consolidation of print buys, real time reports and inventory management has resulted in cost reduction and reduction in obsolescence of collateral.

With the implementation of OrderStream, Delaware North was able to reduce the administrative overheads associated with the ordering, production fulfillment and delivery of products like stationery, training materials and corporate merchandise. Additionally, consolidating print production resulted in consistently high reproduction quality, stringent brand management, quick turnaround of orders and cost savings.
